The Department of Plant Sciences has been working to improve their provision of resources to support student learning for over two years. Many of the tools they have used and the resources they have developed are available to students through an online 'Virtual Learning Network' and so can be accessed anywhere at any time.

The 12th Biennial Conference of the European Association for Research in Learning and Instruction opens today (28th August) in Budapest, Hungary.

The participants of the TfLN have put in a joint submission for a roundtable session at the Annual Conference of the Society for Research in Higher Education, to held in Brighton 11-13th December 2007.
01/05/07 Book release: University Collaboration for Innovation: Out Now!
The Cambridge-MIT Institute (CMI), who funded the establishment of the Teaching for Learning Network, today announced the publication of the long-awaited book 'University Collaboration for Innovation: Lessons from the Cambridge MIT Institute', which details some of the Institutes's activities over the last five years.

15/03/07 EARLI 2007: paper accepted
Naomi Irvine and Patrick Carmichael of the TfLN have had a paper accepted for presentation at the EARLI 2007 conference in Budapest at the beginning of September.

This week, the network received news that two papers written by TfLN members have been accepted for the prestigious BERA 2007 annual conference.
